About Our SMS Program

Meals Multiplied sends text messages to help coordinate meal sharing within your community. You may receive messages for:

• Group invitations: One-time messages when someone invites you to join a meal-sharing group
• Grocery lists: On-demand grocery lists for meals you're assigned to cook (only if you opt in)

How to Opt In

SMS messaging is optional and is not required to create an account or use the app. You can opt in in two ways:

1. Reply YES to an invitation SMS: If you receive a group invitation via text message, you can reply YES to opt in to receive future SMS updates (such as grocery lists for meals you're assigned to cook).
2. In the app (separate from Terms): When signing up or in your Profile, you may see a separate, unchecked-by-default checkbox. If you check it, you opt in. The exact wording is: “Yes, I want to receive SMS updates from Meals Multiplied at this number. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.”

By opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from Meals Multiplied. Message and data rates may apply.

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages sent and received, as determined by your mobile carrier's plan.

Meals Multiplied does not charge you for sending or receiving SMS messages. Any charges come from your mobile carrier based on your plan.
