Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Meals Multiplied, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Meals Multiplied is a meal-sharing platform that connects families and organizations. This service facilitates:

  • Meal-sharing groups: small groups of families who cook and exchange home-cooked meals each week
  • Community meal requests: organizations (churches, clubs, schools) post requests when a family in their community needs meals; members respond voluntarily
  • Recipe tools, grocery list generation, and cooking assistance

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Meals Multiplied, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Respect other users and maintain a positive community environment
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and best practices
  • Not share inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Provide accurate information when posting or responding to community meal requests
  • Use the community meal request feature only for its intended purpose — supporting families in genuine need

4. Dietary Restrictions and Food Allergies

  • Meals Multiplied does not manage, track, or enforce dietary restrictions or food allergies between families
  • Families cook for each other without guaranteed knowledge of recipients' specific dietary needs or allergens
  • Users with severe food allergies, anaphylactic conditions, or medically required dietary restrictions should carefully evaluate whether group meal sharing is appropriate for their household
  • Cooks are encouraged to list major allergens in their meal description but are not required to accommodate specific dietary needs
  • Users assume full responsibility for evaluating meals received before consuming them

5. Organization Leader Responsibilities

  • Organization leaders who register on Meals Multiplied represent that they have an appropriate relationship with their members to communicate meal requests on their behalf
  • Meal requests should accurately represent genuine community need
  • Organization leaders are responsible for the accuracy of their organization's 501(c)(3) status as reported in the app
  • Meals Multiplied does not verify 501(c)(3) status; the contribution summary PDF is provided as a convenience for members' personal records only and does not constitute tax advice
  • Consult a qualified tax professional to determine the deductibility of meal contributions

6. Limitation of Liability

Meals Multiplied provides a platform for meal sharing but is not responsible for:

  • Food quality, safety, or preparation by users
  • Allergic reactions or food-borne illnesses
  • Disputes between users
  • Property damage or personal injury
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or adverse health effects from meals shared between families
  • The tax treatment of meal contributions; we do not provide tax advice
  • Actions or representations made by organization leaders

7. Termination

This service reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior. Users may delete their accounts at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

This service may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of this service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
